Editorial Policy

Principles

Four commitments govern everything published here, in order of precedence when they conflict:

1. Accuracy before completeness. A missing entry is better than a wrong one.
2. Provenance before convenience. Anything published must be traceable to a source.
3. Permanence before presentation. Addresses do not change to suit a redesign.
4. Plain limits before reach. We state what our data cannot support, even where that costs traffic.

Sourcing and verification

Entries are compiled from publicly circulated chart listings. Before publication, an entry must satisfy all of the following:

• It appears identically in at least two independent public sources.
• Its date is unambiguous and can be written in ISO form without inference.
• Its value is a two-digit figure between 00 and 99, stored as text so leading zeros survive.

Where sources disagree about a date, nothing is published for it. The date appears as a visible gap in the chart and is re-checked on the next review pass. We do not resolve a conflict by picking the source we happen to prefer, and we do not average, estimate or carry forward a neighbouring value.

The publishing process

1. Compile. The day's entry is collected after 12:00 IST.
2. Cross-check. It is compared against independent public listings.
3. Settle. If the sources agree, the entry settles into the archive at 12:35 IST.
4. Propagate. The month page, year grid and frequency counts all update from the same stored entry in the same pass, so no view of the archive can disagree with another.
5. Freeze. When the month closes, its page is frozen at a permanent address.

Content update and review cycle

Archive pages are re-checked on a rolling monthly cycle; every reference page carries the date it was last reviewed.

• Archive pages are re-checked against sources on a rolling monthly cycle.
• Reference and guide pages are reviewed at least once every six months, and immediately whenever the method they describe changes.
• Policy pages — this one, the terms, the privacy policy — are reviewed annually and versioned when they change materially.

The review date shown in a page byline is the date a human last checked that page, not the date the file was touched. A page that has only had a typographical fix does not get a new review date, because that would overstate what was checked.

Corrections policy

When an error is identified — by the desk or by a reader — the correction is published on the page it affects, carrying the date of the change, the value that was there before, and the reason for the change.

Archived pages are never edited silently. Someone who cited an earlier value must be able to see what moved; a silent edit leaves them holding a claim the page no longer makes, with nothing to alert them. Where a correction affects a statistic, the statistic moves with it automatically, since every figure on this site is computed from the stored entries rather than cached separately.

To report an error, use the contact page with the exact date, the value shown, the value you believe is correct and where you saw it. Reports are usually reviewed within two working days.

Authorship and review dates

Pages are bylined to the Delhi Noon Archive Desk, which carries editorial responsibility as a team rather than distributing it across named individuals. Each byline states the role, the date the page was last reviewed and a link back to this policy.

Every archive page additionally states how its entries were compiled and over what period, so provenance travels with the data instead of living on one page that a search visitor never sees.

What we refuse to publish

• Predictions of any kind. No tips, forecasts, systems, lucky numbers or guaranteed results. Our own data does not support them.
• Financial or transactional features. This website does not offer betting, gambling, wagering, deposits, withdrawals, wallets, payments or any money-related service of any kind.
• Paid or sponsored entries. Nothing in the archive or the guides is for sale.
• Invented data. Gaps are published as gaps.
• Content aimed at minors. The site is intended for readers aged 18 and over.

Transparency statement

This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government department, regulator, operator or commercial entity, and it is not an official source. No third party influences what is published.

The archive is a compiled record, not an authoritative one, and it may contain errors. That is why every page shows how to report one, why corrections are public, and why the limits of the data are stated on the pages where a reader is most likely to overreach — particularly the statistics page.
