The short version
This site runs no advertising and sets no cookies of any kind. The only personal data it holds is whatever you choose to type into the contact form, plus standard server logs kept for security. There are no accounts, and no payment processing of any kind, so no financial data exists here to lose.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. The name, email address, subject and message you type. These are stored so the desk can reply and, where the message reports an error, so the correction can be traced back to its report.
- Server logs. Your IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string — the standard record every web server keeps.
That is the complete list. Nothing else is collected, inferred or purchased.
What we do not collect
- No advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers.
- No analytics profiles, behavioural scoring or fingerprinting.
- No payment, card or bank details — there is no mechanism on this site to accept them.
- No accounts, passwords or login history.
- No location data beyond whatever an IP address implies in a log line.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies at all. Not for analytics, not for advertising, and not for sessions. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The contact form is protected by a signed, self-expiring token embedded in the form itself rather than by a session, which is what allows the site to stay cookie-free. Your browser may still keep things locally of its own accord — a cache entry, a remembered form value — but none of that is set by us or visible to us.
Server logs
Logs are kept for security and diagnostics: identifying abuse, debugging errors, and confirming the site is reachable. They are not used to build a profile of any visitor and are not shared for advertising or analytics.
Contact submissions are stored with no IP address attached at all — only the date, the name and address you gave, the subject and the message itself.
How long we keep things
- Contact messages: up to 24 months, then deleted. Messages that produced a published correction are kept as part of that correction's provenance.
- Server logs: typically 30 days, subject to the hosting provider's own rotation.
Who we share with
Nobody, for marketing or analytics. Personal data is disclosed only where the law requires it, or where it is strictly necessary to investigate abuse of the site.
The site does have a hosting provider, which necessarily processes requests on our behalf and holds the server logs described above. There are no third-party scripts, fonts, trackers or embeds on any page, so no other party observes your visit.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data of yours we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to editorial@delhinoonsattaking.com or use the contact form with the subject set to privacy. Requests are answered within 30 days.
Because there are no accounts, the only data likely to exist about you is a past contact message. Telling us the address you wrote from is normally enough for us to find it.
Children
This site is intended for readers aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us a message, tell us and it will be deleted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the revised version is published here with a new review date in the byline. Policy pages are reviewed at least annually. Continued use of the site after a change means accepting the revised policy.
